Oil of Olay Definity Eye Illuminator

Photobucket
Ooooh, this stuff is amazing. First of all, if you like pretty things, just buy it to look at it. The bottle is clear and it has the prettiest swirl of luminescent serum in the middle. When I put that serum on my eyes, it instantly perked them up and made them brighter. I woke up the next morning and looked much more well-rested, with faded dark circles. A lot of this is achieved through the luminosity of the product, but it WORKS. In fact, last week when most of us here at home were sick and I had no time for actual makeup (an occasion to mourn, I promise), I just put this on, and I didn’t look as tired and haggard throughout the day. This is a product that is a little more pricey than things I usually buy, but it's definitely worth the extra money you'll shell out.

I know I should not ask this but, will it work for guys? My hubby gets dark circle under his eyes. He hates them so I am always looking for something to help him with it. Any input would help.

I wouldn't use this one for guys, it's kinda shimmery. But some others might work for him. Neutrogena has a good one, and so does Boots at Target.

Alright, I'm giving it a try. I need something desperately for my eyes. One question: have you ever found an eye-brightener stick or highlighter stick that you've really liked? What about under-eye concealer?

I'll get back to you on that highlighter thing, Jenny. As far as concealers, there's actually several I like. My little sister introduced me to one called All Over Brightener by Carmindy for Sally Hansen Natural Beauty. The one I use is actually lavender/pinkish colored and it works really well. You have to put it on with a concealer brush. I bought it at Ulta online. I also bought one by Sonia Kashuk at Target. It's part of her mineral line, and it also works really well. It goes on with a concealer brush, too.

Ok, i may just have to try this one, i ALWAYS look tired, and I rarely have time to do a full on makeup routine, but something quick may have to try this. I don't think Keith is gonna like this site, i am already spending more money in my head!

I have used Neutrogena eye cream in the past and been happy...but then I ran out and just got some L'Oreal eye defense at Kroger because it was on sale. Not the same! I am looking much more haggard and could definitely use a little illumination!

Ok so I want this, but it is pricey. Is there something that does not cost as much but still does the same thing. If it is totally worth it and you think I will get my moneys worth then I will buy it. Let me know what you girls think.
